Burbank Tomato

The famous American Horticulturalist, Luther Burbank, from whom the tomato takes its name, developed the Burbank tomato in 1914. The tomato has a classic taste that is acidic yet sweet. The fruits are medium sized and uniform, with a deep red colour. The Burbank is particularly special because it is very nutritious as it has the high level of free amino acids.
